This section presents information on bird species on Iceland. It is now almost complete for breeding bird species on Iceland. Some rare accidental species and passing-by migrants are dealt with too.
General scientific knowledge regarding the species as well as other interesting facts and private observations are presented. One or more photos of Icelandic birds can be viewed for all species described.
General notes on the habitat, breeding areas, ethology and migration behaviour are included.
